Setting up an artistic couple photoshoot and creating engagement photos that wouldn’t look out of place in Vogue magazine is what we do! Whether you’re in the greater Boston area, New York City or beyond, we’re excited to work with you to tell your love story.

    An Engagement Shoot IS NOT a pre-Wedding Shoot!

    In fact, it can have nothing to do with your wedding photos. This is our chance to focus on the two of you when no one else is around. It’s about documenting your love and how you express it in artistic engagement photos. Not sure what we mean?     How Do We Do It?

    Many of our clients tell us that they would not have done an engagement shoot at all had they not come across Mind On Photography. Why is that? Because this isn’t your typical engagement photography experience and we aren’t your typical engagement photographer. You can count on us to work with you to bring your vision to life, whatever and wherever that may be.

    How do we do it? The first step is up to you! You choose a vibe: Classic? Artistic? Goofy? Then we decide on the perfect location together, whether that’s a Cape Cod Beach, proposing under the falling snow in New Hampshire, or visiting multiple locations in Boston throughout the day.

    Because we know you’re just dying to see the photos, we make sure we edit them to match your tastes and then get them to you ASAP! That’s the Mind On Photography way.

    “His quality of work speaks for itself” To preface, I have significant experience in graphic design, photo editing and DSLR photography. Where does one such as my self go to get my photos taken? Ivan Djikaev. I don’t find my impressed with the quality, composition and quality of photos that a lot of “professional” photographers these days tend to produce, but as a hobbyist photographer myself and someone who prides himself on his eye for detail, I can say with certainty that Ivan is on another level. The man is not only very talented, but accommodating and flexible.     I highly recommend choosing Ivan as your photographer!! We recently got our photos back from the couples shoot we did with him and I am beyond pleased with the results. He made sure to get to know us and our interests which made the photos even more meaningful. His direction during the shoot was so helpful and he really has an eye for capturing intimate moments. Especially with making us feel comfortable and loosen up when posing. 10/10 experience, thank you Ivan!!

    Ivan is a stellar photographer to work with. He is kind, organized, and highly detail-oriented. I took my residency application photo with him, and he was patient, taking the time to listen to my needs and produce the exact headshot I was looking for.     I am a returning customer. From the beginning: Punctual. Professional. Flexible. Respectful. Prepared. The session went great, Ivan knows what he is doing, which is ultimately what you should be looking for. He stayed longer than he should have and did not make me feel uncomfortable. He was extremely accommodating, making sure all my questions are answered and that I am getting what I want out of the session. Worth every penny!!

    Ivan was great to work with! Very easy to schedule with and move dates whenever we had rain. He is quick to respond to questions. My fiancé and I aren’t picture people, but Ivan was able to assist to make our vision work. We loved how all of our pictures turned out!

    Ivan is a genius. He has an impeccable eye and his attention is second to none. Who doesn’t want her photos to look like they are straight out of Vogue magazine?? Ivan shot our wedding 8 years ago and we continue to use him for our press and publicity photos. Ivan is a joy to work with, funny, sharp and you don’t have to know how to model to get gorgeous photos out of him. It is truly an honor to shoot with him every time.
